REMOVING THE TUB AND BASKET ASSEMBLY
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3. Remove the detergent dispenser assembly
(see page 4-7 for the procedure).
4. Remove the bellows (see page 4-5 for the
procedure).
5. Remove the heating element & tempera-
ture sensor (see page 4-17 for the proce-
dures).
6. Remove the drain pump assembly (see
page 4-18 for the procedure).
7. Remove the airtrap (see page 4-20 for the
procedure).
8. Remove the drive motor and belt (see page
4-23 for the procedure).
10. Loosen the clamp and pull the end of the
vent hose from the tub.
9. Remove the T-20 hex-head screws from
the top brace, and remove the brace from
the rear of the washer.
NOTE:
If you did not
remove the bottom brace in step 7, remove
it now.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
