Replacing Assemblies

90000 A-Series Service Guide

115

Removing and replacing the USB or GPIB port

Use this procedure to remove and replace the USB or GPIB port. The GPIB is an

option and may not be on your oscilloscope. The procedure is exactly the same for

both of these ports so only one is shown here.

Disconnect the power cable and remove the cover and top plate.

Remove the screw from top edge of the chassis.

Undo the connection to the motherboard by disconnecting the cable.

Pull the port out of the instrument.

To replace one of these ports, reverse this procedure.
