Removing and replacing the fans

Disconnect the power cable and remove the cover and top plate.

Disconnect the fan harness cables.

Clip off the end of each locking button and remove the fan. Repeat for each fan
that needs to be replaced.

To install a fan, reverse this procedure.
WARNING
AVOID INJURY! The fan blades are exposed both inside and outside the chassis.
Disconnect the power cable before working around the fan. Use extreme caution
when working with the oscilloscope.
CAUTION
AVOID OVERHEATING THE OSCILLOSCOPE. When replacing the fan, be sure the
direction of the fan air flow is coming from the inside to the outside of the
oscilloscope. Check the flow arrows on the fan and check for proper flow once power
is applied to the oscilloscope. Improper air flow can overheat the oscilloscope.
