Changing the Orientation of the Device Guide and Electrode Plate

Changing the Orientation of or Replacing the Device Guide and Electrode Plate
Change the orientation of the device guide and electrode plate so that the
selected device guide frame is located at the measuring position. For a 0603
device, replace the attached device guide and electrode plate with ones
supplied in Option 001.
Step 1.
Loosen the knobs on the sliding block, and remove the pressure unit from the
electrode unit, referring to
Figure 1-4 on page 9
Step 2.
Unscrew the screws that fix the guide holder. Then remove the guide holder,
device guide, and electrode plate (

Step 3.
Mount the device guide and electrode plate so that the selected device guide
frame is located at the measuring position. Ensure that the marks on the
device guide are aligned with those on the electrode plate (
Figure 3-5
). For a
0603 DUT, replace the attached device guide and electrode plate with ones
supplied in Option 001 (
Figure 3-6
).
If it is difficult to take out the electrode plate, turn the electrode unit
upside down to remove the plate. Do not use force to take out the
electrode plate, otherwise it may be deformed.
