In the case of normal switch-on w h e n the backup condenser
is charging the voltage and currents displayed will all be " 0 "
(See Figure 1-a). T h e n , after 5 s e c o n d s , normal operation
will begin.
Because the unit uses a condenser a s the memory set back-
up power supply, w h e n first turning the power supply on,
or w h e n turning it on for the first time in a long time (more
than 1 w e e k ) , all of the voltage display will read " 0 " (See
Figure 1-a). T h i s is not a malfunction, pleased w a i t . While
the machine is in this state, all control s w i t c h e s will be non-
functional.
If the s y s t e m is turned off while the data ' 0 0 0 0 ' is displayed
on the display panel, the content of the backup memory may
be destroyed. It may c a u s e an error. Keep it in mind. If the
s y s t e m is turned off due to operational errors or some other
unavoidable errors (for example, power failure), perform the
operations discussed in Note 2 on page 1 8 . T h e s y s t e m will
be initialized.
