Enabling SRQ on setpoint tolerance
To enable an SRQ when the setpoint tolerance has been reached, send the following com-
mands:
•
:STAT:MEAS:ENABLE 4096 – Enable bit 12, SPT (setpoint tolerance) in the
Measurement Event Enable Register.
•
*SRE 1 – Enable the MSB (Message Summary Bit) in the Service Request Enable
Register.
See
for status register and SRQ details.
Temperature sweep program summary
Program 2 demonstrates the basic programming steps for generating a temperature sweep
using setpoint tolerance. For the most part, the instrument is operated using default condi-
tions by sending a *RST command at the beginning of the program. (See
.) Other key programming modes include:
•
SRQ on setpoint tolerance enabled.
•
Setpoint tolerance percent, window: 1%, 10 reading count.
•
Upper temperature limit: 90°C.
•
Temperature setpoint sweep under program control: 40°C to 80°C in 10°C steps.
When the program is run, it cycles through the temperature setpoints, stopping to wait for
the Model 2510 to an SRQ when each setpoint is within tolerance. The TEC power at each
setpoint is also requested and displayed.
