Update channel lists
The process for updating the channel list via the USB is identical to that used for updating the software
(channel list name: channel.xml).
Save Channel list to USB
The receiver offers you the option of saving the channel list you are currently using to a USB device,
so that you can recover it later if required.
First connect your USB device to the receiver, using a free USB port on the receiver. Then select the
“Save Channel list to USB” selection

rm you want to start saving by pressing the
button.
During the saving process you will see the “Update via a USB” menu; however you cannot navigate within
this menu until the saving process has been completed.
The function “Update channel list” allows you to reload the channel list stored to the receiver at a later date,
should you so require.
The channel list “channel.xml” is copied to the USB storage medium using the
following folder structure:

Restore factory default settings
After calling up the menu, you will see the
following on-screen display:
Here you can restore the channel list
and the installation settings to the factory
settings. You can use the
buttons
to select the components to be restored
to their factory settings. In each case
use the
buttons to select “Yes”
or “No”.
In addition you can select whether, after restoration, the
fi
rst installation should be started automatically,
as with the initial set-up.
Once you have de
fi
ned all the settings, use the
buttons to switch to the “Start Reset” selection
fi
eld and con
fi
rm the start using the
button. The components you selected will now be reset to their
status at the delivery of the unit.
