Gearbox manual control
In difficult road conditions (for example, during the
off-road movement) it is recommended to shift to the man-
ual control mode to preserve an opportunity of self gear
shifting in accordance with the road situation.
To choose the manual control, shift the rotary
switch towards the steering column against stop (see I on
Fig.
Gear shifter
). If the figure indicating the number of
the gear engaged appeared on the display, then the gear-
box switched to the manual control mode.
In this case the gear in the gearbox remains en-
gaged.
Further change the gears by means of the gear
shifter. Upshifting is managed by pressing the shifter
handle upwards (III), reversion shifting – by pressing the
handle downwards (IV). With this the gear engaged is
shown on the display.
For reversion gearbox shifting to automatic control
mode it is necessary tho shift the rotary switch towards
the steering column, against stop. If operation mode is
displayed corresponding to the rotary switch position, so
the shifting is executed.
Motion modes
Direct maneuvering DM and reverse maneuvering
RM modes are meant for very slow motion.
It is recommended to use maneuvering mode as
more rarely as it is possible and for a short period of time
to exclude the high load on the clutch.
Engagement of the maneuvering mode
1. Shift the rotary switch to position N, symbol
«N» will flash on the display.
2. In two sec. shift the rotary switch to position of
direct maneuvering DM or reverse maneuvering RM. The
symbol of chosen maneuvering mode «DM» or «RM»
flashes up on the display.
3. In two more seconds depress the fuel feed pedal
and simultaneously release the parking brake. Vehicle
moves from a standstill.
To slow the motion down release the fuel feed pe-
dal and smoothly depress the pedal of the service brake
system. Electronic control system automatically shifts the
gearbox down.
Attention!
When engine crankshaft speed drops to more than
550 min
-1
the electronic system automatically disengages
the clutch, for example, when climbing. Escape the engine
crankshaft speed drop more than 550 min
-1
