PRE-STARTING HEATER
Pre-starting heater is for heating the engine before
starting it up at the ambient temperature of up to minus
45 °С.
The vehicles are equipped with preheaters of model
14ТС-10 or 16ЖД-24, according to the vehicle configura-
tion.
The operating instructions manuals for prestarting
heaters you will find in Appendices «Pre-starting diesel
heater 14ТС-10-GP» or «Liquid small-size heater
PRAMOTRONIC-
16ЖД24».
Engagement/ disengagement of heater, the indica-
tion of its functional state is performed with the help of
control panel.(see Fig.

The vehicle is
equipped with an independ-
ent fuel tank for preheater
14ТС. Observe the fuel level
in a tank as independent tank
is not included into engine
fuel system (see Section 6

Maintenance »).
FUEL HEATING
The fuel is heated automatically in a coarse fuel
filter and a fuel suction pipe. The information about the
fuel heating is displayed on instrument panel.
Fuel heating in a coarse fuel filter (UFI filter) is
activated at temperatures of (2±3)
°С, where it is deac-
tivated at temperatures of (8±3)
°С.
TO HEAT THE NEUTRALIZING LIQUID
Neutralizing liquid freezes at the temperature of
minus 10 ºС.
The AdBlue tank is heated by the engine coolant
temperature. With working temperatures achieved, the
liquid injection starts
