systems: power supply system, engine starting system,
warning lights, outer and inner illumination means, indi-
cating devices, heating systems, ventilation and audio
signaling system, additional electric equipment and
windscreen wiping system.
Flash lights are installed on a vehicle cab roof.
Flash beacons are arranged on a cab roof of the
vehicle designed for transportion of dangerous cargoes.
Vehicle is supplied with electric equipment ECU.
Warnings
1. Do not connect or disconnect the plugs and the
plus terminal of the alternator while the engine is
running and storage batteries are energized, neither start
the engine while the plus conductor of the alternator is
disconnected.
2. Do not test the alternator for operability by
shorting the positive terminal, the field winding lead,
the phase terminal and the pilot lamp contact between
themselves and to ground using the jumpers.
3. Do not test the operability of electric
equipment circuit and of separate conductors using mega
ohmmeter or lamp with voltage higher than 36 V while
alternator is energized.
4. To prevent the rectifier block and voltage
regulator malfunction while storage batteries are charged
from outer source, be sure to disconnect batteries from
truck mains.
5. When washing the truck, protect the alternator
from water ingress.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS
In accord with configuration, vehicles are
equipped with electronic control systems for:
- engine;
- after-treatment system;
- air suspension;
- brake system (EBS);
- intarder;
- electric equipment;
- gearbox with automated control.
If adjustment and debugging of electronic systems
is necessary it is recommended to address to specialized
