The DC power supply in an XRE200 External Routing Engine is a hot-insertable and hot-removable
field-replaceable unit (FRU).
You install power supplies in the power supply slots on the back of the chassis. All XRE200 External Routing
Engines are shipped with two AC or DC power supplies.

DC Power Supply LED in XRE200 External Routing Engines
A DC power supply has one bicolored power supply status LED on its faceplate. This LED displays
information about the status of the power supply.
Table 15 on page 40 describes the power supply status LED on a DC power supply in an XRE200 External
Routing Engine.
