Hot Water Piping
Piping must comply with local plumbing
codes and ordinances.
Due to the variety of piping practices, it is advisable to
follow the recommendations of local authorities. They
can supply the installer with the proper building and
safety codes required for a safe and proper installation.
ELECTRIC HEAT
The unit can be ordered with a factory installed two
stage electric heat section. The electric heat option is
installed on the leaving side of the evaporator coil. The
electric heat assembly, including the controls, is con-
tained within the evaporator coil department.
FILTERS
Standard filters are 30% 4 inch. As an option, 4 inch fil-
ters can be ordered with efficiencies up to 90%. A 30%
4 inch prefilter can also be ordered with the 4 inch high
efficiency filter option. The filters are factory installed
in the filter coil section of the unit, prior to the evapora-
tor coil. Filters must always be installed ahead of the
evaporator coil. The filters must be kept clean and re-
placed with the same size and type as shipped with the
unit. Dirty filters reduces the capacity of the unit and
may result in frosted coils and safety shutdowns.
The unit should never be operated for any
length of time without the proper filters
installed in the unit.
