9. Inspect device
Remove all devices from the washing basket.
Inspect the cannulations, sliding sleeves, etc. for
visible soil. If necessary, repeat the manual pre-
cleaning/automated cleaning cycle. Confirm that all
parts are completely dry.
Precaution:
Mechanical cleaning is an additional stress for power
equipment, especially for seals and bearings. There-
fore, devices must be properly lubricated after auto-
mated cleaning. Furthermore, the device must be
serviced at least once per year as specified under
the section “Repair and Technical Services” on page
58.
