a)
Refer to Technical assistance.
b)
Check the hydraulic circuit for leakages
The lift is not going down pushing
the lowering button
a)
The mechanical safety is engaged
a)
Raise the lift until it is not possible to dis-engage
the safety lock and then lower the lift.
The lift is not moving gently, but is
rather “jumping” up and down
a)
There is air in the hydraulic circuit
b)
The hydraulic lowering valve is not working
properly
a)
Clean the hydraulic circuit (see § 5.6)
b)
Refer to Snap-on Technical assistance.
The mechanical safety is not
engaging/disengaging
a)
Electric cables are not installed correctly.
a)
Check the cables.
Carriage is not levelled when
lowered on the safety lock position
a)
Loosened synchronization cable nut
b)
Post locking device is not engaging on carriage
a)
Tighten cables’ nuts after adjusting level
b)
Make sure post lock is freely moving and makes
clicking sound
Carriage is not levelled when lift is
ascending
a)
Loosened synchronization cable nut
a)
Tighten cables’ nuts after adjusting level
Carriage
is
inclined
during
lowering
a)
Some locking device still locked
b)
Grease supply
a)
Adjust level of carriage and lock rails
b)
Regular greasing
Motor noise
a)
Lifting over weight limit
b)
Shortage of hydraulic oil
a)
Lift within rated capacity
b)
“Top Up” hydraulic oil and bleed air in hose line

motor
a)
Defective motor
b)
Not enough amp supply to motor
a)
Replace motor
b)
Supply enough amp (electrician only)
Circuit breaker is clicking
a)
Low amp circuit breaker used
b)
Damaged wire
a)
Check capacity of circuit breaker and change
b)
Check damage area and replace
Motor is turning but lift is not
raising
a)
Motor is turning wrong direction
b)
Hydraulic hose incorrectly fitted
a)
Change the phase of wire and re-operate
b)
Check hose connection from motor and other
connection area.
Emergency lowering procedure
(i.e. no electricity)
a) Safety locks
b) Lowering valve
a) If the locks are on the disengaged status, keep
the locks are open and then release the lowering
valve by the manual override button, it needs the
