5.5.3 LOWERING A VEHICLE
DANGER
The operator is considered an integral part of the control system with the manual lowering valve and lock release. During any
lowering, the operator must verify no obstruction under the lift. If any fault occurs during lowering, the operator must immediately
release the lowering button or press the Emergency Stop button upon indication of any problems. Since the operator is actively
engaged in the operation of the lift, the risk is negligible.
1)
Insure that the area under the vehicle is clear of personnel and tools.
2)
Lower the lift by pressing the ‘
DOWN
’ button, the lift will raise one(1) second automatically to disengage the latches and then begin
lowering.
3)
The lift will stop lowering when it is lowered to a certain height (the bottom of the arm to the floor is 130mm approximately) as the lower
limit switch was triggered, and then the operator should release the ‘
DOWN
’ button.
4)
Recheck no obstruction around the lift and no anybody’s feet under the arms.
5)
Continue to lower the vehicle by pressing the ‘
DOWN
’ button again, and then the lift will lower again with the alarm sound and flash from
the BUZZER (see
Fig. 37
) until the carriages stop against the base plate. Release the ‘
DOWN
’ button, retract the extension arms, and
park them.

use. Deformed or elongated materials must be replaced. If they look deformed, they are deformed. Replace them!
5.6 MAINTENANCE
To reduce the effects of the wear consequence of the use, it is necessary to execute a correct and regular maintenance. This type of activity,
first of all extends the life of the lift, but also it is fundamental for its safe use
WARNING
Only permit trained and authorized persons to perform maintenance/operate this equipment.
Any person authorized to operate the lift shall be given copy of the manual; the owner of the lift shall make sure that any person
