Description The firewall function allows to open / close the door automatically upon receipt of a fire
alarm or signal. The opening and closing is performed without taking into account the
safety signals of the control panel. At the same time, the control panel informs about the
input in this mode with its outputs.
Configuration To enable this function, you must assign an input signal or fire alarm at one of the inputs
of the control panel. This assignment is done by the configuration parameters P5E ...
P50. You can assign a type signal normally open or normally closed type signal.
The time of opening / closing is set by the configuration parameter number PD5.
The choice of whether you need to open or close is done by setting ON / OFF PD7
configuration. If ON opening is done, if OFF closing is done.
There are 2 types of outputs fire information: flash and activation. The first performs the
normal function of flash but in the case that the fire signal is active remains in flash until
the signal turns off. The second simply follows the input fire signal and it is activated
during automatic opening / closing.
To open the door with the fire signal active, it is necessary to configure an input with this
functionality of "Forced opening".
Operating If the firewall function is activated, the unit performs the following actions:
• It monitors the input of fire signal and when it is activated, it starts an autoclosing or
auto-opening time. Once the time is finished, the door opens or closes automatically
(depending on the parameter PD5).
• If during the closing or opening a safety element is activated, the control panel reverses
and returns to autoclosing or auto-opening after 5 seconds. At the third continuous
activation of the safety element, the control panel closes without taking into account the
safety element.
• In case of automatic closing, the door can only be opened by the “Forced opening"
input.
• During the time that the fire signal is active, if there is a flash signal, it is also active
until the fire signal disappears.
