Remote Programming/Diagnostics

A personal computer at a remote location may be used change the customer
database through the internet, WAN connection or a modem. If a modem
connection is used, the line used for remote programming may also be used as
a regular outgoing line, and manually switched for modem use. If a WAN
connection is used, VPN routers are required.

SMDR

Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) allows you to connect an RS232C
compatible serial printer to the Iwatsu Enterprise-CS. This printer will show all
incoming and outgoing call activity. The following information will be
shown:



Date of the call



Sequence number 001-999



Extension number that made/received the call



Start time of the call



Duration of the call



Trunk number used for the call



Number dialed for the call



Caller ID name and number for the incoming call
