1.2

Intended use

When installing the equipment/system, observe the applicable building codes, ire protection

regulations and accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance Association
[Germany] or local equivalent.

Only use the equipment/system for the applications described in this documentation and only in

combination with the components recommended, approved and speciied by inVENTer GmbH in

this documentation. Changes and modiications to the equipment/system are not permitted.

Trouble-free and safe operation of the equipment/system can only be ensured provided it is
transported, stored and assembled correctly and operated and maintained with care. This
documentation is part of the equipment/system and must be available at all times. Observe all
safety regulations in this documentation.

1.3

Incorrect use

The equipment/system is not suitable for:

•

Rooms with corrosive and caustic gases

• Rooms with extreme dust exposure

•

Drying out buildings

Reliable fan operation is only guaranteed in rooms without polluted air.

The inVENTer

®

ventilation system works with safety extra-low voltage. Therefore the inVENTer

®

iV14 ventilation unit must not be connected directly to the 230 V power supply – it must always
be connected via a controller.

1.4

Qualiied personnel

The equipment/system may only be installed and operated in conjunction with this
documentation and the controller documentation. Installation, wiring/electrical connection and

initial start-up of the equipment/system may only be performed by qualiied personnel.

Qualiied personnel within the meaning of the safety information in this documentation are

persons authorised to install, start up and identify equipment, systems and electrical circuits in
accordance with safety engineering standards.
