•

Installation and operating instructions

Fitting sealing tapes to wall sleeve R-D204

Requirements:

Exterior wall inished and level and the wall sleeve is itted.

The sealing tapes on the wall sleeve V-177x177 for weather protection hood 09 are itted.

►

Remove the protective disc (21) from the wall

sleeve (20) from the exterior wall side.

►

Apply the foam strip, 220 mm x 50 mm, (23)

on the exterior wall side in the lower area of

the wall sleeve (22).

Make sure that

the foam strip (23) protrudes

outwards by 35 mm.

►

Cut into the foam strip (23) from the side using
a suitable tool.

►

Press the foam strip (23) down onto the

façade.

►

Afix the joint tape, 380 mm x 15 mm, (24) on

the exterior wall side in the upper area of the

wall sleeve.

Make sure that

the joint tape (24) does not

protrude over the inner edge of the wall sleeve
opening (25).

►

Apply the sealing tape, 9 mm, (26) all round
the front side of the wall sleeve.
