Performing a function test and starting up the ventilation system

TIP

Immediately after connecting the controller to the reversible fan, check that the assembly and

ventilation system are working. For this the reversible fan should be connected in extract air

mode and the controller set to ventilation mode.

Requirements:
Reversible fan is connected to ventilation unit and the locking screws are visible.
Controller is switched off or set to output level zero.

Select ventilation mode on the controller
(see installation and operating instructions for the controller).

Ventilation mode is set.

►

Make sure that the LEDs are illuminated on
all connected reversible fans.

►

Check that all reversible fans are rotating in the same direction.

Ö

Ö

Function test is complete.

Setting the fan's start direction

TIP

In paired operation, one reversible fan is set to extract air mode and the other fan to supply air

mode (see section 4: Wiring/electrical connection). After the function test, rotate the connector of
the reversible fan which is to start in supply air mode in paired operation.

Requirements:
You have carried out the function test.

On one reversible fan in each fan pair, pull the
controller connector (2) out of the green
socket (1) on the plug connector of fan bus.

►

Rotate the connector (2) by 180°.

►

Plug the controller connector (2) back into the
green socket (1) on the plug connector of fan
bus with the locking screws pointing down.
