Full Battery Discharge
In this mode the battery is simply discharged at the
Discharge Amps
until the
Discharge Time
has been reached or stopped by pressing the
CLR
key. The
Alarm
Volts
is used as an alert where manual application of balancing resistors is required
where a cell monitor function has not been deployed. Once the alarm is sounding the
unit will continue to discharge the battery and can be cleared by pressing the
‘CLR’
key
once.
The parameters required for this mode are as follows: -
Alarm Volts :
This is the point at which the alarm will sound.
Discharge Amps :
This is the constant current amps to discharge the battery.
Test Time :
The length of time the discharge is to operate.
