Repair Array Drives
This function allows the online repair of array drives which show failed drives. After selecting this
menu option, StorCon displays a summary of all installed array drives and the number of array
drives which are in critical states (Figure 30). In the example in Figure 31 there is one array drive
in the Fail state. For example, the array drive is still operating but no longer redundant.

After pressing any key, StorCon displays a list of array drives which are candidates for online
automatic repair.

NOTE
Array drives that are in the
Error
state are very critical and have lost two or even more drives.
These array drives cannot be repaired with the
Repair Array Drives
function. In such critical cases
data integrity can no longer be maintained.
After selecting the array drive, StorCon displays the drive that failed. In the example in Figure 31 it
is the hard disk drive which forms logical drive 5.
