Intel RAID SRCU31 Users Guide
Support for Non-Hard Disk Drive SCSI Devices (Non-Direct Access Devices)
The Intel RAID Controller SRCU31 will pass through to the host operating system direct access to

The RAID controller passes through all control of these devices to the host operating system.
Types if supported Non-Direct-Access SCSI devices (this doesn’t cover specific vendors and
models):
•
SAF-TE Processors
•
Tape Backups
•
CD-ROMs
•
Scanners
Compatible Intel RAID Controllers
This Intel RAID Controller SRCU31 is compatible with other Intel RAID Controllers SRCU31.
The versions of firmware must be V6.x or newer or both cards using less than V6.
✏
NOTE
Compatible refers to the ability of the Intel RAID Controller SRCU31 to read the RAID
configuration information located on hard disk drives that are members of RAID Arrays that have
been created on compatible adapters. Thus RAID Arrays created on compatible adapters are
interchangeable between the adapters (Array Roaming).
