5.2) Protective conductor connection
When hazardous voltage (> 25 VAC voltage and > 60 VDC voltage) is used, the test fixture may
be operated only when a protective conductor has been connected to the protective earth.
Protective conductor connection to the test fixture
The exchangeable kit must be designed in such a way that tools with a diameter of > 2.5 mm are
unable to come into contact with live component parts. In addition, connections conducting voltage
into the interior must not be present if the interior contains live parts. Accordingly, the standard
exchangeable kit must be equipped with an additional cover plate as contact protection. This plate
is used to cover all of the screws in the pressure frame plate and seal off all machined holes.
