Remove the sinter filter with the o-ring.

Visually check the filter for contamination.

Install a new sinter filter with o-ring at the bottom of the filter tip.

Reinstall the sniffer tip.

Switch on the Ecotec E3000.

Hold finger against the capillary filter:
You should be able to feel the resulting vacuum.

If the warning “Flow through capillary too low” remains after releasing the finger from
the capillary filter, replace the sniffer tip first.
If this does not cure the problem, the capillary in the sniffer line is clogged and the
complete sniffer line needs to be replaced.

Please recalibrate the Ecotec E3000 for most accurate display of leak rate.

At the top of the sniffer tip two different capillary filters can be mounted.
