Placement and Mounting
The unit can be placed or mounted for operation.
The optional Wall Mount Kit can be used for a unit that will be mounted to a wall, another surface, or to a
strut-type rail setup. The kit contains a label that replicates important information that appears on the back
of the RGX, which includes the unit’s LAN MAC and WAN MAC values. These two values are to be
customer recorded onto the kit label in the provided areas. Ensure the values are recorded onto the kit
label and the label has been customer affixed to an area of the RGX that will be visible during operation.
The optional Magnet Mount Kit is used to mount the unit to a metal surface; however,
do not
use the
Magnet Mount Kit with units that draw operational power from a compatible fixed DC power source.
Installation Preparation
Based on how the RGX will be mounted (or placed) and its intended operational power source and
communications options, use the information below to determine which preparation tasks are needed.
Refer to the
Service
section of this "Product Manual" for task instruction.
