instructions
2 - Ignition:
•
Can be adjusted between -2 - +8. This directly affects the device’s power converter setpoint.
• The default value (0) ensures the best possible ignition without the risk of breaking the arc when the attachment is
lifted whilst also limiting the short-circuit current.
• Increase the ignition slightly if the arc repeatedly breaks.
3 - Cleaning: Set the time (in milliseconds) and cleaning current. See section
4
for further details.
4 - Arc: Set the time (in milliseconds) and the arc current. See section 4 for further details.
5 - Attaching:
•
Can be adjusted between -2 - +8. This directly affects the device’s power converter setpoint.
• The default value (0) ensures the best possible attachment of the electrode to the support plate.
6 - Height:
• The consumable’s lift height (in millimetres) during the welding process.
•
If the height is too great, the arc will be extinguished more frequently (see section
5
.7). If the height is too low, the
weld may be short-circuited due to the stud’s tip being warped during the welding process.
