The product has both SYNERGY and MANUAL operating modes as well as a system for saving and recalling weld
configurations.
When the ARCPULL 350 is switched on, it will return to whichever operating mode it was in when it was last switched
off.
Changing the mode (MANUAL or SYNERGY) and retrieving previous welding configurations is done via the main menu.
8.1. WELDING IN SYNERGY MODE
In SYNERGY mode, the device automatically determines the height of the arc as well as the different welding phases’
times and currents. Therefore, a synergy is determined by the type of part to be welded, its material, its gas shielding,
its size and the supporting sheet.
The type of gas to use is shown on the display screen. If the welding gun has the wrong polarity, a message will ap-
pear on the display and the fault LED indicator light (red) on the gun will flash.
The different welding settings are determined for the attachment parts sold by JBDC.
These synergies (pre-installed user settings) are still valid for longer attachments (see section
5
.4) as
long as they are the same type and material as those sold by JBDC in accordance with ISO 13918).
Aluminium consumable synergies (excluding those for pulling rings) were determined on support sheets preheated to
50 - 60°C.
A few test welds should be made on a spare support plate beforehand to ensure that the welds will hold.
