6.7.2. PROCEDURE FOR CHANGING THE CERAMIC ADAPTOR
Unscrew the two screws and remove the ceramic sup-
port from the adaptor.
Reposition the correct support onto the adaptor (grooves
facing outwards) and tighten the two screws.
6.7.3. FITTING CONSUMABLES TO THE GUN
Repeat the first two stages of the procedure for fitting the
stud support to the gun’s drive shaft.
Fit the adaptor to the end of the rods and tighten the two
rod-clamping screws.
Position the ceramic ferrule onto the adaptor.
Loosen the gun’s locking knob (n°3 - Fig 2).
Adjust the assembly so that the end of the part to be
welded protrudes slightly (0.5 - 2 mm) from the tip of the
ferrule.
Tighten the gun’s locking knob.
