Paper jam under magnetic head -
Coupon not cut
Paper jam in zone B
Perform an operational check
on the rear feed and
magnetic motor(s) using the
Tests submenu (see Chapter
2 of this manual).
Check the motor
connections.
Check the condition of the
drive assemblies and
pressure rollers.
Clean the drive assemblies.
Replace the printer.
Clean the sensors.
Test the sensors using the Tests
submenu (see Chapter 2 of this
manual).
Replace the printer.
Check the physical
condition of the coupons.
Check that the coupons
can move freely
(especially in their
boxes).
Check that the physical
characteristics of the
coupons conform to IATA
specifications.
Replace the faulty
coupon bin.
Check that the hinged
top part is closed.
Open the hinged top part
and if necessary the
rotating flange and
inspect/clean the paper
path.
Replace the printer.
Check that the
burster module is
operational
(see figure page
3-19).
