4) Procedure

IMPORTANT: The printer must be disconnected from AC line power and host computer before

beginning this procedure.

a) Open the operator access door (1) and unlock the electronics module (3) using the size 10 Torx

head screwdriver (2).

b) Remove the ribbon cartridge if the printer is of the thermal transfer type (refer to the IER 567

Printer User Guide, N00212A).

c) Remove the blank coupons from the rear feed mechanisms.

d) Remove any documents from the stacker (4) and reject bin (5).
