Administrator Password
Set the administrator password.

Username ��������
Displays the administrator login ID (“admin”).

Current Password ����
Enter the current password, when you change it.
(Default: admin)

The entered characters are displayed as an * (asterisk) or a • (dot).

New Password �����
Enter a new password up to 31 characters.

The entered characters are displayed as an * (asterisk) or a • (dot).

New Password (confirm) �
Enter the new password again.

<Apply> ��������
Click to apply the entries.

<Reset> ��������
Click to restore the settings.

You cannot restore after clicking <Apply>.
CAUTION:
If you have forgotten the password, you cannot access the IP1000C’s setting screen again.
In this case, you have to initialize the IP1000C using the <INIT> button. See page 5-4 for details.
To prevent unauthorized access
You must be careful when choosing your password.
•Choose one that is not easy to guess.
•Use numbers, characters and letters (both lower and upper case).
