Calibraion of feeding speed
Marks at 11 locations in the OCR TEST SHEET are scanned. The velocity error for the feeding direction is learned
based on the reference values and the measured values. The velocity adjustment coefficients are learned based on
that.
Use the calibration when the diameter of the drive roller made of polyurethane rubber has increased due to no-carbon
liquid (chemical) and a feeding error occus.
(1) On the Calibration of scanner window, select “Calibration of Feeding Speed”, and click [Run].
(2) Usually leave the Date of measurement and Number of sheets for measurement as they are. (If the
measurement date is wrong, correct the date.) Set five sheets of the test sheet (040-7-4) in the following
direction on the Scanner, and click [Run]. (If the measurement date is wrong, correct the date.)
(3) Click [Yes].
