8.3.28 Replacing DC Fans
■ DC Fan for Main PCB
(1) Remove the Top Cover, Main Cover (L) / (R), Side Cover (L) / (R), and Back Cover. See
“8.1.1 How to
remove or attach the covers”
.
(2) Remove the PCB cover. See
“8.3.1 Replacing Main PCB assembly (CPS878 PCB)”
.
(3) Disconnect the J14 connector on the Main PCB assembly.
(4) Remove 2 bind-head screws (
SB320N
) fixing the DC Fan, and remove the DC Fan.
(5) Attach using the above steps in reverse.
■ DC Fan for DRV PCB
(1) Remove the Top Cover and Main Cover (L) / (R). See
“8.1.1 How to remove or attach the covers”
.
(2) Remove the Eject Guide assembly. See
“8.1.2 How to remove or attach the guides”
.
(3) Disconnect the J602 connector on the DRV PCB assembly.
(4) Remove 2 bind-head screws (
SB320N
) fixing the DC Fan, and remove the DC Fan.
(5) Attach using the above steps in reverse.
