8.3.20 Replacing R SOL assembly
(1) Remove the Top Cover and Main Cover (L) / (R). See
“8.1.1 How to remove or attach the covers”

(2) Remove the Eject Guide assembly. See
“8.1.2 How to remove or attach the guides”
.
(3) Disconnect the G-SOL (J603) connector on the DRV PCB assembly (CPS880 PCB). See
“8.3.3 Replacing
DRV PCB assembly (CPS880 PCB)”
.
(4) Remove 1 bind-head screw (SB306N) at the R SOL assembly side fixing the R SOL assembly and Gate Shaft,
and remove the R SOL assembly.
(5) Attach using the above steps in reverse. When attaching the R SOL assembly, insert the groove of the R SOL
assembly to the color in and fix 1 bind-head screw (SB306N) with pressing the Gate Shaft in the arrow
direction.
