6. Select OK. When you are finished with the selection, close the
selection's window to delete the contents from the ink
clipboard.
Using the Windows clipboard
If you want to use a selection of ink in another application, you
can use the Windows clipboard.
1. Select the ink you want to copy.
2. Select the Copy button
on the toolbar. The selection is
stored on the Windows clipboard. You can now use this ink in
another application or document.
3. Open the target application, such as a document. Select the
Paste button
. If there is no Paste button, check the Edit
menu, or press Ctrl + V, a Windows shortcut for pasting
contents at the cursor location as a graphic.
If you are unable to paste ink or text, search the application help
system or user manual.
Send Mail
IBM Ink Manager Pro supports sending ink files as e-mail
attachments if your default e-mail program is a MAPI client such
as Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express.
1. While the ink file you want to send is open, select File > Send
Mail.
2. When the new blank message opens in your e-mail program,
select a message recipient and type a subject and message text.
When you have finished, send the message. The ink file is
automatically sent as an attachment to the message.
