the page into My Ink Files, remove the action, and then mark the
correct ink on the screen.
On the digital notepad, for best results, make sure the circle
includes all the ink for the first and last letters of the word or
phrase. (When you two-tap, remember to include an area slightly
larger than the group of words or figures you want to mark.) The
program includes all the middle ink strokes, even if you miss a
stem or tail. If you include the dot or stem of a word above or
below the intended word, the extra words are sometimes fully
captured.
In some instances, the following situation might occur:
A circled Keyword shown in Ink Viewer, and the rectangular area the computer “sees.”
The marked Keyword in Ink Manager Pro.
As shown in the example above, the computer program creates a
rectangular box (shown in red) based on the user’s circle. The list
includes all four words rather than the intended two upper words
because ink strokes from the two words below it are included in
the box.
Try these additional tips:
• When writing, leave extra white space above and below
words that you intend to mark as an action. This allows extra
room for circling.
• When you circle words, complete the circle in one stroke. If
you lift the pen, the circling action stops and records
whatever ink is enclosed in the partial circle, even if you did
not completely enclose the intended ink.
