WAN Troubleshooting
This section discusses problems with connections to a host over the 5500
Control Unit’s WAN ports. The following is a list of symptoms and
definitions to assist you with problem determination:

No Connection
A connection with the host cannot be
established. This symptom could indicate a
problem with the physical (hardware)
connections, or with the configuration of the
WAN components.
Intermittent or Dropped
Connection
A connection with the host seems to occur,
but the connection is lost after some period
of time.
Slow Connection
A connection with the host is established,
but the transfer of data appears to be slow.
