cmemRetention test
Table 31 shows the cmemRetentionTest command, which is used to verify that
data written into the SRAMs that make up the central memory are retained and that
data bits do not
drop when read after some amount of delay since the write
operation.
Attention: This command cannot be executed on an operational switch. Before
using the cmemRetention test command, disable the switch using the
switchDisable command.
cmemRetention test example: The cmemRetention Test command performs a
data retention test of the central memory SRAMs.

Availability Administrator
Description Use this command to verify for data retention in the central memory
SRAMs in the ASIC.
Below are possible error messages if failures are detected:
DIAG-LCMRS
DIAG-LCMTO
DIAG-LCMEM
Operands This command has the following operand:
passCount Specify the number of times to execute this test. The
default value is 1. This operand is optional.

Related error messages: DIAG-LCMEM, DIAG-LCMRS, DIAG-LCMTO.
cmiTest
Table 32 on page 97 shows the cmiTest command, which verifies that control
messages can be correctly sent from any ASIC to any ASIC. It also tests that the
checksum check is OK.
Attention: This command cannot be executed on an operational switch. Before
issuing the cmiTest command, disable the switch using the switchDisable
command.
cmiTest example: The cmiTest command performs a ASIC to ASIC connection
test of the CMI bus
