3.3
Fluidic Unit
The Fluidic Unit holds the Perfusion Set (fluidic reservoirs and tubing), and performs the switching
operations to generate the unidirectional constant flow in the flow chamber. The Fluidic Unit’s (Fig-
ure
) active components are the two switching valves (V1) and (V2). There are two connectors in the
rear of the Fluidic Unit, one electrical connection for the valve control and another for the pressurized
air. Both connect the Fluidic Unit to the ibidi Pump.
