Universal Drinkers
5.1. Assembly Of Drinker Inserts
The four types of drinker inserts can be joined together to create a variety of combinations to give
users flexibility for mounting trough to post, see Fig
36, 37 and 38 below for details of drinker
insert options.
The trough mounting height for cattle is typically 700mm
-
1000mm to lip of trough. However, the
type of animal and intended use of the drinker must be considered in every scenario, for example
if young stock are drinking then these heights may be adjusted accordingly.

introduce insert element as instructed in

Option 1:
Suitable for drinkers set to 850mm nominal height to lip of
trough with little adjustment available.
IMPORTANT
:
Insert requires minimum 305mm insertion
into Primary.
Drinker inserts are not intended to be used
as a gate hang arrangement.
