
Creating Connections
Microsoft Viewers
The thin client contains five viewers for files created in the following formats:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Image
Acrobat
When using the Internet Explorer browser or viewing an e-mail attachment, viewers are automatically
loaded.
Before documents located on a USB storage device or a shared network drive (through Windows
terminal services or Citrix) can be viewed, a viewer connection must be created.

1. Click
the
Configure
tab in the
Terminal Connection Manager
then click the
Add
button to display
the
New Connection
dialog box.
2. Select the desired viewer and click
OK
. A viewer entry will appear in the connections listing.
