Terminal Emulation
This section describes the basic procedure for creating an IBM 5250 terminal display emulation
connection that will use TCP/IP and the network port of the thin client.

1. Click
the
Configure
tab in the
Terminal Connection Manager
then click the
Add
button to display
the
New Connection
dialog box.
2. Select
Terminal Emulation
and click
OK
. The
Connection Information
dialog box will be
displayed.
3. On the Connection Information screen, you will select the emulation type, model, language and
keyboard options. After all the settings have been made, click
Next
> to continue.
Connection Name
: Enter a name for this session that will appear on the Terminal Connection
Manager screen. The connection name can consist of a maximum of 42 characters (including
special characters).
Emulation
: Select the terminal emulation.
