5 – Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance

Put the indicator pin into the indicator pin hole in the high-pressure end cap. Turn the pin so that the offset post goes
into the aperture at the back of the hole.

Put the spring on the indicator pin.

Put the backup on the indicator pin cap.

Put a small quantity of hydraulic fluid on the O-ring.

Put the O-ring on the indicator pin cap.

Put the indicator pin cap into the end cap.

Put white lithium grease antiseize bolt lubricant on the cap screws.

Put the lock washers on the cap screws. Torque the cap screws to 10 N ∙ m (8 lbf ∙ ft).
