Connector Orientation
■
■
Reconnect the 10-pin connector to the 10-pin port on the manual control button.
■
➤
There are two ports on the manual control button: one 10-pin port and one 6-pin
port. The 6-pin port is for a dry contact connection to interface with home automation
systems.
■
➤
The pins in the 10-pin port are offset toward the button side of the manual control
button assembly. Be sure to orient the holes on the connector the same way.
IMPORTANT:
Do not force the connector into the port. If the connector is oriented correctly,
it should fit onto the pins in the port with little effort.
■
■
Affix the manual control button to the wall or molding.
■
➤
Peel the backing from the double-sided tape on the rear of the assembly.
■
➤
Press the manual control button onto the mounting surface, as shown.
IMPORTANT:
Choose a location where the manual control button will not be obstructed by
the valance or side rails, and where the wire will not be pinched.
