4.9 Connecting to a PID
This section describes how to connect the SmartLogger to a PID.

shows how to connect the SmartLogger to the PID module.

In the scenarios with the communication box, the SmartLogger and PID module are installed before
delivery, and the PID module is connected to the SmartLogger through the X2 terminal block.
Procedure
Step 1
Connect one end of the cable delivered with the PID to the RS485 port of the PID.
Step 2
Connect the other end of the cable to a Surge port of the RS485 signal SPD. For details, see
