2. Enter the following information:

Share name
■
Share path
■
Client protocol types
To create a folder for the new share, check the indicated box and the system will create the
folder at the same time it creates the share.
Protocol specific tabs are available to enter sharing and permissions information for each
sharing type. See “Modifying Share Properties” for detailed information on these tabs.
3. After entering all share information, click OK.
Deleting a Share
Caution:
Before deleting a share, warn all users to exit that share and confirm that no one
is using the share.
To delete a share:
1. From the Shares menu, click Delete.
2. Verify that this is the correct share, and then click OK.
