Local port mirroring configuration example

Network requirements

As shown in

Figure 53

, configure local port mirroring on Switch C to monitor the packets received and

sent by Department 1 and Department 2.
To meet the network requirements, perform the following configuration on Switch C:

•

Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 and GigabitEthernet1/0/2 as mirroring ports.

•

Configure GigabitEthernet 1/0/3 as a monitor port.
