Insert the knife holder into the head clamp and push it all the way down (1).

Tighten the clamp screw (2).
WARNING!
Take care not to cut yourself.
After installing a new knife, you should set the knife offset (see below) and recalibrate the OPOS sensor (see
Calibrate the OPOS sensor on page 48
).
Change the drag knife offset
The offset is the distance between the center of the knife and its tip. The offset should be set whenever the knife
is changed, and should be checked if the knife shows signs of wear.
Typical offsets
●
0.41–0.45 for standard knives
●
0.49–0.52 for the 60 degree knife
●
0.90–0.97 for sandblast knives
NOTE:
A sandblast knife should be used when the substrate is thicker than 0.25 mm (0.01 in).
Change the offset

Turn on the cutter, load substrate, and mount the tool.

. The current offset
appears on the screen.

to change the offset.

to perform the internal knife offset test.

to confirm the chosen offset.
