Security Features
The appliance has a front panel password to prevent unauthorized front panel configuration. It also has a web administrator name
and password, which are required to configure the device or manage printers (the default username is admin and the default
password is admin). Additional web administrator accounts can be added.
The existing user account information of the NT 4.0 domain (name and password) is used; users or groups of users can be
authorized to print through the appliance without requiring the creation of user accounts and passwords on the appliance.
For NT Domain networks, administrators can easily restrict print administration and services to specific groups or users. Valid
access levels are:
Print (print, pause, and delete your own print jobs)

Manage Documents (print, pause, and delete other user's print jobs)
●
Full Control (print, pause, and delete other user's print jobs, delete printers, and change security settings (using native NT
tools))
●
No Access
